Flowers and nature are photographed with a Macro Lens.  Macro Photography enables the ability to catch the tiniest of details such as bumble bees and butterflies with their eyes, wings, and antenna in sharp detail.  Also with this lens, I am able to get very close to tiny petals and literally put the camera inside large florals such as hibiscus flowers that grow abundantly in Florida.  I can constantly taking pictures of flowers.  One of my favorite times to photograph a flower is after a rain with droplets of water glistening on the petals.

The Landscape images are taken with my Wide Angle Lens.  With this lens, I can get close to landscape landmarks such as mountains, ocean piers, sunsets, and yet still able to photograph the full width of the image.  Majestic scenes, such as these, must be captured end to end.  And while flowers, nature and landscapes are beautiful, I am also captivated by an abandoned car or even perhaps an old building that tells a story of days gone by.

As a self-taught photographer, I continually changed and elevated my style of photography to make it my own.  While perfecting my brand, I achieved confidence as a photographic artist and a person as well.  Whether it is capturing a flower with a bee gathering honey, photographing the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, or capturing a rusted and abandoned car left in the woods, it is all beauty to me that I love to photograph and share.
